Such personal data will be collected, processed and used by us or our agents/service providers for the purpose of registering your application with The Womens Networking Company, providing you with The Womens Networking Company membership and facilitating any transactions which you may enter into with us.We may also make use of such data for administration purposes and future enhancement of our services to meet your needs as well as our marketing, advertising and promotional purposes, which may include sharing the data with our agents/service providers or marketing companies.

If you object to the use of your data in any of the ways we have mentioned here and/or you object to us contacting you by any of the methods referred to above then please e-mail us on info@thewomensnetworkingcompany.com.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold on you, for which we may charge a small fee, and to correct any inaccuracies.

 
 
 

Terms & Conditions

General Terms and Conditions:
By booking for any event you are entering into a binding contract with The Womens Networking Company and are liable for full payment subject to Payment Terms, and also Cancellation / Change of booking term as shown below.

Cancellation / Change of booking: If after booking you are unable to attend you are welcome to provide a substitute. With the exception of Charity events, refunds or exchange of booking to an alternative date are only offered if notified in writing more than five working days prior to the event date, or eight working days in the case of a Premier Business Club meeting. No refunds are available for any cancellation or alteration of booking made within five working days of the date of the event, or eight working days in the case of a Premier Business Club meeting. For any charity event booked tickets are non refundable once payment has been received.

Payment made for an event entitles you to take part in the proceedings with catering as specified on the event details found on this website. Costs for any beverages or additional catering required will not be met by The Womens Networking Company.

Any special dietary requests must be made in writing at least five working days prior to the event; however special dietary requirements may not be available at all events and venues.

The Womens Networking Company cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury (or allergic reaction) that occurs to any person whilst attending one of our events. Additionally The Womens Networking Company cannot be held liable for the loss of or damage to any persons personal or business items during an event.

All fees and prices for events, meetings and lunches are subject to alteration without prior notification. In the event of non arrival or cancellation by a speaker at an event, The Womens Networking Company will not be held liable and any fees paid to attend that event are non refundable.

The information and views expressed by any speaker or participant at any of our events do not necessarily reflect the views of the Directors, employees and licensees of The Womens Networking Company.

Additionally, any information provided in an independently written article on this website and/or in the TWNC newsletter does not necessarily reflect the views of the Directors, employees and licensees of The Womens Networking Company. Every effort is made to ensure that these details are correct and not misleading, but The Womens Networking Company cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions, conflict in actual service provided by Members and associates, and quality of service provided by Members and associates.

The Womens Networking Company cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions, information or service provided by Members, guests and associates, within or without of our events.

The Womens Networking Company will arrange the booking of venues, and any catering at events as advertised. In the event that an event not occur through no fault of The Womens Networking Company, the Womens Networking Company cannot be held liable and no fees are refundable.

The Womens Networking Company reserves the right to cancel an event at any time. In the event of an event being cancelled by The Womens Networking Company you will be offered a full refund.

The Womens Networking Company reserves the power to expel any member or guest at any time during an event, and also to refuse entry to an event. In this event no fees will be refunded.

Payment Terms:
All events must be pre-booked and pre-paid. Payment by cheque must be made within seven working days of the date that the booking was made or by the date of the event booked, whichever is first. Any bookings made within five working days of the date of the event must be paid by cash, debit or credit card. In the event of late payment The Womens Networking Company will charge interest at 8% above the prevailing reference rate.

The Womens Networking Company reserves the right to alter all Terms and Conditions relating to events and membership at any time with no prior notification to members or guests.


The Womens Networking Company Womens Business Club (previously known as Networking Club) Membership Terms & Conditions:

Membership year:One year from the date of acceptance of application, or payment of renewal fees.

Membership
Membership is invited from any entrepreneur in business for themselves, or in a management or professional role within a company. Membership is for one year from the date of acceptance (Membership Year). The final decision in any matters relating to Membership rests entirely with The Womens Networking Company. Membership entitles a member to discounted member rates (where offered) at any Womens Business Club event run by The Womens Networking Company.

An individual members membership may be transferable to another individual with the advance agreement of The Womens Networking Company. Membership is however not transferable between different companies.

Membership Fees
Membership fees are outlined on our Membership Application Form and on our website (www.thewomensnetworkingcompany.com) and are subject to alteration without prior notification. All membership fees are payable in full with initial application, however in the event of non acceptance of application they will be refunded immediately (within 5 working days). Membership period is one year from the date of acceptance of membership. (Membership year)

The yearly membership fee for existing members will be billed on the first day, of the month prior to the month of the anniversary of our initial acceptance date. Membership renewals must be paid in full by the anniversary date of our initial acceptance date. In the event that payment is not received by the anniversary date of our initial acceptance date, membership will be deemed to have lapsed and membership for the business type will be made available within the relevant Premier Business Club. A lapsed member will need to re-apply for Membership.

All membership fees paid are non-refundable unless application of Membership is rejected by The Womens Networking Company at the time of initial application.

Cancellation of Membership
In the event of a member wishing to cancel their membership, notice needs to be given in writing to The Womens Networking Company. No fees are refundable. Members who wish to rejoin a The Womens Networking Company Womens Business Club must submit a new application and pay the full yearly Membership Fee.

Should the Womens Networking Company decide to terminate a member’s membership, no fees are refundable

The Womens Networking Company Premier Business Club Membership Terms and Conditions

Membership year: One year from the date of acceptance of application, or payment of renewal fees.

Membership

Membership is to a specific Premier Business Club which is defined at the time of application and acceptance. Acceptance is notified in writing to the applicant by The Womens Networking Company. Membership is for one year from the date of acceptance. (Membership Year). The final decision in any matters relating to Membership rests entirely with The Womens Networking Company.

Premier Business Club membership is for named individuals only and company membership is not available. An individual members membership may be transferable to another Premier Business Club with the advance agreement of The Womens Networking Company. Membership is however not transferable between different companies. Premier Business Club membership is transferable between staff at the same company with the advance permission of The Womens Networking Company only.

Professional Exclusivity / Core business
Members must represent a discipline that is their main business or represents a substantial part of their business activities. In instances where a business provides more than one key product or service the member must focus on what they consider to be their ’core’ business activity within the club. This must be identified at the time of membership application and can only be redefined or altered with the agreement of The Womens Networking Company.

Multiple Memberships
If a member of any Premier Business Club wishes to join a second Premier Business Club then the supplemental Premier Business Club membership fee is payable for each club joined.

Meeting Fees / Event Fees
Payment for meeting fees for scheduled monthly meetings of the Premier Business Club are made by Standing Order each month on a credit or debit card each month eight working days prior to the meeting. These meeting fees may be waived up to a maximum of three times per year, where the member notifies us in writing of non attendance a minimum of nine working days in advance of the affected monthly meeting. Until the Standing Order is established a member is required to pay meeting fees in advance of the Club meeting. Any fees for other events booked should be made to The Womens Networking Company in advance of the event by cheque, debit or credit card as per the terms of the specific invoice.

Attendance
Regular attendance to the Premier Business Club scheduled monthly meetings is crucial to the formation of the dynamic of the Club, hence we request that members are represented at as many of our monthly meetings as possible.

Bookings for members will automatically be made eight working days prior to each club meeting with an invoice raised and notification sent by email. Where a standing order has been established on a debit/credit card, the meeting fee will be charged at this time. Members may excuse themselves from a meeting by notifying The Womens Networking Company directly in writing prior to this time (more than eight working days).  However ino notice of non attendence has been received by The Womens Networking Company, the booking will be made and invoice raised, and this is then a confirmed booking and must be paid for.  We are unable to cancel or alter Premier Business Club bookings after this the booking is made.

Members may be excused from three scheduled monthly meetings in the course of a membership year and have their meetings fees waived for those meetings if they notify The Womens Networking Company in writing a minimum of nine working days in advance of the affected monthly meeting. Additional absences from scheduled monthly meetings within the year will not have the meeting fees refunded.

A named member must be present at a minimum of six of their Premier Business Club meetings during the course of a membership year.

A substitution may be supplied for three meetings, and a member may be not represented at a maximum of three other meetings in a membership year.  If a member is not represented (with or without advanced notice) at four or more meetings within a membership year then they may forfeit their membership place at their Premier Business Club.  No portion of the Membership Fee is refundable in the event of a membership being terminated by The Womens Networking Company, or in the event or member resignation. A lapsed or cancelled member will need to re-apply for Membership.

In the event of un-notified absence occurring for three consecutive scheduled monthly meetings, at the end of the third meeting Membership for that member will be deemed to have been cancelled and that business sector will be made available in that Premier Business Club. No portion of the Membership Fee is refundable. A lapsed or cancelled member will need to re-apply for Membership.

The Womens Networking Company will endeavour to advise all members of dates of scheduled monthly meetings nine months to one year ahead to enable planning of diaries

Substitutions
Substitutions are welcomed at Premier Business Club meetings; provided that the substitute is fully aware of the business activities of the Premier Business Club that they are representing and the substitutes main business activity does not conflict with an existing member of that club. Please note substitutions can only be made for a maximum 25% of the meetings within a membership year (3 meetings). In the event of a substitute attending, the meeting fee is still payable by Standing Order by the member.

Cancellation of Membership
In the event of a member wishing to cancel their membership, notice needs to be given in writing to The Womens Networking Company. No fees are refundable. Members who wish to rejoin a Premier Business Club must submit a new application and pay the full yearly Membership Fee.

Premier Business Club Membership Additional Terms & Conditions:
Should the Womens Networking Company decide to terminate a member’s membership for any reason, no fees are refundable. The only exception to this is the unlikely event that The Womens Networking Company should need to close a particular Premier Business Club entirely, in which instance we will offer you a place at a suitable alternative Club where possible. If a suitable alternative Club cannot be found we will refund the membership fee paid on a pro-rata basis (ie, if you have been a member for 3 months we will refund you 9/12s of the membership fee paid).
